What is the exact difference between having fixed connection or remote displacement boundary condition for bolted connections?

Hi,

However, in short, it is all about the degree of freedom of the object while the fixed connection entirely restricts the boundary from displacement and rotation, remote displacement allows the boundary to rotate in the selected axis.
